Call for votes: .net Awards 2011

Every year .net magazine organise an awards ceremony to recognise the best and brightest in the industry. Last year I had the pleasure of attending the ceremony as ExplicitWeb was up for Podcast of the Year (we didn’t win). This year the podcast isn’t up for anything, but it turns out that I’ve been nominated for 3 awards myself. Crazy stuff!

Every year .net magazine organise an awards ceremony to recognise the best and brightest in the industry. Last year I had the pleasure of attending the ceremony as ExplicitWeb was up for Podcast of the Year (we didn't win). This year the podcast isn't up for anything, but it turns out that I've been nominated for 3 awards myself. Crazy stuff!

I'm up for an award in each of the following categories:

  • Rawkets for "Online Game of the Year"
  • Myself for the "Brilliant Newcomer Award"
  • Myself for "Developer of the Year"

So all I ask is that you please vote for me if you think that I deserve any of that. I'm up against some amazing people, so I'm happy enough to even be considered on par with these people (but winning something would be awesome).

[Disclaimer] I'm a judge this year, but I'm not allowed to vote for myself when it comes to picking the finalists and I didn't nominate myself for anything. Check out Dan Oliver's stance on the matter (the organiser of the awards):
